Central Kitsap school board meeting to be held Oct. 22

The next study session and regular session of the Central Kitsap School District school board will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 22 at the Jenne-Wright Administration Center in Silverdale. The study session will begin at 5 p.m., the regular session will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Agenda items include:
— Contract for the Position of Central Kitsap School District Superintendent for the Period Oct. 23, 2014 through June 30, 2017.
— Oath of office administered to Superintendent David McVicker.
— District Improvement Plan and School Improvement Plans.
— Move approval of Silverdale Elementary School modernization project schematic design as presented.
Minutes of the School Board’s Oct. 8 meeting will be available for viewing once they have been approved by the board.
