Sheldon’s ‘open season’ comments were chilling

His ‘open season’

remark scares me

If Mason County has really declared “open season” on people with “no bag limit,” I think it wise that we all avoid Mason County.

It shouldn’t take any time at all before the wild and wooly take action. Can you see bullets flying left and right and everyone proclaiming that they had a right?

Vigilantes are a thing of the past. Let’s hope they stay there.

Of course we could save millions of dollars if we did away with millions of dollars in expense if eliminated judges, lawyers, courts and juries. Seen any good western movies lately? I guess if you wear a white hat you’d be the hero and you’d be safe — or maybe not.

What if someone just doesn’t like you? Maybe you’re offending someone with a short fuse?

What happens when it’s you off to the hanging tree?

I think the good, old days weren’t all that good. It took our ancestors a lot of life and a lot of strife to get us where we are.

It seems Mason County Commissioner Tim Sheldon isn’t making good sense and should retract his silly remarks.
