Note of gratitude to Public Works crews

So, thank you, Mr. Lund! You may not hear it enough, but it is apparent that this department takes great pride in its mission and serves us all so well.

We are Poulsbo residents who frequently visit Oyster Plant Park near Liberty Bay Marina. This site is very important to our quality of life because this park provides much opportunity to relax on the dock, walk the dog, sail, kayak, or just sit and observe weather and boats.

We wish to publicly thank Mr. Mike Lund of Public Works and his crew of landscape workers who provide regular maintenance. The grass is always neatly mowed, shells swept and the area cleaned.

Recently, the Public Works Department vastly improved the property when they performed a large-scale renovation by removing overgrowth and trimming all hedges and bushes. Now, the park is more welcoming and lovelier than ever.

Also, Lions Park is a jewel for children and parents, a favorite play place, thanks to Public Works’ oversight.

So, thank you, Mr. Lund! You may not hear it enough, but it is apparent that this department takes great pride in its mission and serves us all so well.
