KEY PENINSULA — Drivers will experience overnight delays this weekend as construction crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation repave one mile of State Route 302 as part of the Key Peninsula Highway to Purdy Safety and Congestion project.
Beginning at 9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 7, SR 302 will be reduced to one lane between the intersection of the Key Peninsula Highway at milepost 10.5 and 118th Avenue NW at milepost 11.5.
Motorists will experience single-lane alternating traffic controlled by a flagging operation. All lanes will re-open by 8 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8.
Depending on progress, work could continue overnight on Sunday, Nov. 9. Lanes of traffic would be reduced starting at 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9 and would re-open by 5 a.m. Monday, Nov. 10.
