Looking for an election night party? Here’s where the candidates will be

BAINBRIDGE ISLAND — Here’s our guide to election night celebrations and where you will find the candidates. We’ll be adding to this list as we get more information.

Sherry Appleton, candidate for 23rd District state representative, position 1: Appleton, a candidate for re-election, will be at The Treehouse Cafe beginning about 6:30 p.m. election night. The Treehouse Cafe is located at 4569 Lynwood Center Road NE, Bainbridge Island.

Michelle Caldier, candidate for 26th District state representative, position 2: Caldier, a candidate for re-election, will be at Amy’s on the Bay in Port Orchard.

Hilary Franz, candidate for commissioner of Public Lands: Franz, a former Bainbridge Island City Council member, is one of several Bainbridge residents on the state ballot (the others are Gov. Jay Inslee, state Sen. Christine Rolfes, and state Rep. Drew Hansen, all candidates for re-election).

You can meet Franz and other state Democratic candidates from 6-10 p.m. Nov. 8 at the Washington State Democrats Election Night Party, Westin Hotel, 1900 Fifth Ave., Seattle. Tickets are free, but limited. Click here to reserve your spot.

Debra Lester, candidate for Kitsap Public Utility District commissioner: Lester, a former mayor of Bainbridge Island, planned to join supporters and other local candidates at The Treehouse Cafe beginning about 6:30 p.m. election night. The Treehouse Cafe is located at 4569 Lynwood Center Road NE, Bainbridge Island.
