KCSO investigating Central Kitsap homicide

Detectives from the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the death of a 59-year-old Central Kitsap man. Results from an autopsy indicated that the person died as the result of homicidal violence.
At 7:54 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 27, deputies from the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in the 3200 block of Northlake Way in central Kitsap County in regards to a possibly deceased subject there.
When deputies arrived, they entered the residence with the assistance of Central Kitsap Fire and Rescue personnel and found the victim, Glenn R. Thurmon, unresponsive.
Medics confirmed that Thurmon was in fact deceased.
The acquaintance told investigators that they had seen Thurmon the night before.
The same acquaintance stopped by the next evening to check on Thurmon and found him deceased.
Thurmon is frequently seen in the Northlake Way/Chico Way area either walking or driving his black 1990 Ford F-250 pick-up truck.
