Hot Dogs & Cool Cats set for Wednesday

The Kitsap Humane Society will host a Hot Dogs & Cool Cats outreach event this week in conjunction with National Hot Dog Day.

The event is Wednesday and will start at 5 p.m.

Adoption specials will include $10 off dog adoptions, no adoption fees for cats over 6 months old, and adopt one kitten and get another for free.

Adoption hours will be extended until 6:30 pm to allow for the projected increase in adoptions.

Hot dogs, hamburgers and refreshments will be available for purchase with proceeds benefiting shelter animals.
