The Central Kitsap Community Council’s October meeting will be Oct. 16, beginning at 7 p.m. in the Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue community room, 5300 N.W. Newberry Hill Road, in Silverdale.

Katrina Knutson, of the Kitsap County Community Development department will speak about the Kitsap County Subarea Plan. Erin Leedham, manager of the Kitsap Mall will give an update on mall’s improvements.
