In addition to adoptable pets, Kitsap Humane Society will have booths set up with used and new pet supplies for sale, refreshments, and information on our programs and services.

If you’re planning on adopting a dog or puppy, all family members should be present to meet the dog and make sure it’s the right fit for your family. If you already have another dog(s) at home, your current dog(s) must meet the shelter dog (puppies excluded) to make sure there are no major personality clashes. If you rent, check your lease or speak with your landlord to make sure you are aware of any breed or size restrictions. You can bring a leash, or purchase one at the event.

If you’re planning on adopting a cat or kitten, all kids in the family should meet the kitty first and make sure it’s the right fit for your family. Bring a carrier or purchase one at the event. That goes for adopting bunnies as well.
