Olympic Boys Soccer | Spring Sports Preview

HEAD COACH: Michael Wright

2016-17 RECORD: 0-15

TOP RETURNING PLAYERS: Collin Rogers, senior; Josh Frey, junior.

KEY NEWCOMERS: Owen Lewis, freshman; Josh Kennedy, freshman; Malik Gooden, junior.

OUTLOOK: The Trojans will sport a new look after hiring head coach Michael Wright to lead the boys soccer team in 2018. Wright, who has coached soccer for many years around the community, has a plan to improve upon last season, in which the team went winless. Step one is to develop technical abilities, he said. His previous experiences with the Bremerton, Tracyton and Kitsap Pumas soccer clubs, among others, will likely benefit him as he looks to usher in a new age of soccer for Olympic.
