Charles B. Sexton

Charles B. Sexton of Poulsbo died Nov. 16, 2007 in Bremerton. He was 67.

Sexton was born to Bert and Mabel Sexton in Ashland, Ore. on June 14, 1940.

He married Peggy Hayes on Dec. 26, 1962 in Naches.

Sexton graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in electrical engineering.

He served in the U.S. Army at the Nike missile site in Pennsylvania as a technician from 1962-65. He retired from PSNS as an electrical engineer.

Sexton enjoyed playing volleyball, camping, hiking, cats and spending time with his family.

Sexton is survived by his wife Peggy of Poulsbo; son James Sexton of Bremerton; daughters Tracie (John) Broaddus of Union and Terry (Richard) Cundiff of Port Orchard; brothers Dennis Sexton of Seattle and Leonard Sexton of Renton; sister Bonnie Rehberger of Bellingham; five grandchildren, Matthew Broaddus, Noah Broaddus, Nicholas Cundiff, Benny Cundiff and Jacob Sexton.

Arrangements are being handled by the Poulsbo Mortuary.

A viewing will be from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Nov. 23 at the Poulsbo Mortuary, with a funeral service at 2 p.m. the same day.
