Buck Lake lot closed

The Buck Lake County Park parking lot is closed through Aug. 1 for construction and renovation. The park is open for public use during the renovation. Hansville Road

Work will take place at the intersection of Hansville Road with Little Boston and Eglon roads July 3 through Aug. 11. The Kitsap County Department of Public Works $165,000 project will improve lanes of traffic at the intersection including widening Hansville road to accommodate left turn lanes on both the northern and southern legs of the intersection.

Point No Point Road

Kitsap County Department of Public Works is scheduled to work through mid-July on Point No Point Road, starting from Hillview Lane, with intermittent delays of up to five minutes expected. The work is weather dependent and should be completed this month.

The improvement project will follow the existing road alignment and include minor widening resulting in a uniform 20-foot-wide asphalt road. At the sharp corner just east of Hillview Lane, the pavement will be replaced, the road base rehabilitated and storm drainage improvements made.
