PORT ORCHARD — Here’s a sign that summer weather and hot temps are on their way: the McCormick Village Park’s splash pad makes its debut for 2022 starting Saturday, May 28.

Splash pad hours will be from 12-6 p.m., seven days a week. The water feature will be operational through Labor Day, Sept. 5, according to the Port Orchard Public Works Department.

Modifications to the dates and times may be necessary should drought conditions dictate a need for the City of Port Orchard to preserve water resources.

Parking at McCormick Village Park is limited and parking restrictions are in place along Old Clifton Road. No reservations are accepted for park gazebos and picnic tables; they are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
