It took 20 years, but the Fathoms O’ Fun Festival float won its first Grand Sweepstakes award Sept. 25 at the Autumn Leaf Festival in Leavenworth.

Although the Royalty Court and the parade float, designed and constructed by Larry Lewis and his float crew, was able to participate in just three festivals this summer due to the pandemic, it was a successful season with two sweepstakes wins. The McCleary festival was a sweepstakes win for the team in addition to Leavenworth.
