SEEKING DOCENTS: The Naval Undersea Museum is currently recruiting for the Youth Docent Volunteer Program. The program offers young people work experience in a museum. Volunteers work five hours a day three days a week during the busy summer months as well as a few hours monthly during the winter months. Work begins as soon as school is out in the spring. Teens must be between the ages of 13-17 to participate. Youth Docents serve as educational aides and curatorial assistants. They will research, design and build an exhibit. SEEKING VOLUNTEERS: The Nature Conservancy is looking for volunteer stewards to help monitor Foulweather Bluff preserve, a nature preserve in northern Kitsap County near Hansville.
