POULSBO — Below is a list of schedule changes and closures expected across North Kitsap around the Christmas holiday. All closures are on Dec. 25 unless otherwise noted.

City, county and state offices:

• All Department of Licensing driver licensing offices will be closed. The Poulsbo office will close at 3 p.m. Dec. 24. For more information, go to www.dol.wa.gov.

• Poulsbo City Hall and all city buildings will be closed Dec. 24-26 and reopen on Dec. 27.

• Poulsbo Municipal court will be closed.

• The Poulsbo recreation center will be closed Dec. 24-26 and reopen Dec. 27.

• Poulsbo Police business office will be closed. Officers will still be on duty and can be reached in an emergency by calling 911.

• Poulsbo Fire Department and North Kitsap Fire and Rescue headquarters will be closed. Emergency crews will still be on duty and can be reached in an emergency by calling 911.

• All branches of the Kitsap County Library system will be closed Dec. 24-25.

• Port of Poulsbo business office, guest moorage and fuel service will be closed.

• Port of Kingston business offices and services will be open until noon Dec. 24 and closed Dec. 25.

Garbage and recycling:

• Kitsap County Moderate Waste Facility will be closed Dec. 25-Jan. 1 for annual maintenance.

• The Hansville drop box facility will be closed.

• The Poulsbo recycling center will be closed.

• Residential and commercial collection of garbage, recycling and debris inside Poulsbo city limits will remain on regular schedule.

Grocery stores:

• Central Market in Poulsbo will close at 7 p.m. Dec. 24. It will be closed Dec. 25 and reopen at 6 a.m. Dec. 26.

• Poulsbo Albertsons will be open 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 24. It will be closed Dec. 25.

• Kingston Albertsons will be open until 6 p.m. Dec. 24. It will be open until 5 p.m. Dec. 25.

• Poulsbo Red Apple will be open 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Dec. 24 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 25.

• Kingston Thriftway will be open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Dec. 24. It will be open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 25.

Health and social services:

• Fishline Food Bank will be closed Dec. 23-24 and will re-open on Dec. 27.

• All Literacy Council of Kitsap offices closed Dec. 20 and will reopen Jan. 3.

Transportation:

• Kitsap Transit will be on Sunday service Dec. 24. There will be no service Dec. 25.

• Seattle/Bainbridge ferry routes will be on holiday schedule.

• Edmonds/Kingston ferry routes will be on holiday schedule.
