POULSBO — Bellringer got ever closer to its $30,000 goal as a never-ending fountain of generosity continued its flow through the North End Thursday.
By 2 p.m. Dec. 14, the fund had collected another $2,250, which is yet another successful day as Christmas is less than 10 days away.
The community came up big for North Kitsap Fishline’s Toy Store this week, and the continued donations to Bellringer are the star on the tree.
The Poulsbo Noon Lions Club’s many volunteers who help collect contributions couldn’t be happier this time of year, but the fund is still nearly, $14,000 short of its ultimate goal.
Mike Brooks, owner of Mike’s Car Wash in Poulsbo, is once again donating a portion of his proceeds during this month and December to give the fund a boost.
Donations to the fund can be dropped off at the Kitsap Bank branch in Poulsbo Village or the North Kitsap Herald office, 18887 Highway 305, Suite 700. Donations can also be mailed to Bellringer Fund, P.O. Box 1244, Poulsbo, WA 98370. The help number of the fund is (360) 697-6087.
