Thanks for your help

The Kingston Cancer Kickers would like to thank all of the downtown Kingston merchants for their participation in our inaugural Walk For Chocolate. It was so much fun to watch as the walkers discovered what the chocolate sample was at each stop. They had a great variety for us to enjoy. Everything from Chocolate scented shampoo, mini chocolate sundaes, mochas, and lots of wrapped candy!! Of course there was the chocolate ice cream samples too! Kingston Lumber was kind enough to post our event on their reader board. Can’t thank the Oak Table enough for opening their hearts and doors to us after hours. They had coffee and water ready and waiting for some tired and thirsty walkers. Over all we had a total of 28 merchants participating and 35 walkers. We raised $230 that will go to the American Cancer Society via our Relay For Life team. A great time was had by all.

The North Kitsap Relay will take place July 10, 11 at the North Kitsap Baptist Church. For more information please go to www.relayforlifeofnorthkitsap.org.
