On July 28, citizens of Poulsbo, please join with me and my neighbors as we say “no” to the new comprehensive plan site purposed for Kiwanis City Park at Scandia Knoll and the Klingel property — formerly known as Mitchusson Park. The planning staff wants to rezone these pieces of land for medium- and high-density and sell them for development. Finance Poulsbo City Hall?

If you cannot come, please call, email or write the mayor’s office or council member and let them know this plan is unacceptable.

We need to protect and keep our established Kiwanis City Park (2.76 acres), and not sell the Klingel property (8 acres), which is intended for open space and is a natural wetland.
