Kids’ Day a success

Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue thanks the community for supporting and participating in the 23rd Annual Kids’ Day, June 7. This year’s tremendously successful event was a result of collaborative efforts by sponsors, local businesses, community organizations, volunteers and the many kids and families who participated in the interactive day.

I received many positive comments about the engaging, fun, free activities provided by local agencies. A special thanks goes to the Kids’ Day sponsors: Bremerton Firefighter Local 437, Professional Firefighters of Kitsap County Local 2819, Dr. Okaunami Braces Inc., Brewton-Hight Insurance Agency, The Chiropractors Clinic, Fraternal Order of the Eagles Local 192, Harrison Medical Center, Kitsap County Fire Chiefs Association, Kitsap County Fire Commissioners Association, Kitsap County Parks and Recreation, Kitsap Credit Union, Kitsap Insurance Professionals, Kitsap Sun, KPS Health Plans, Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital and Health Center, Mentor Company and Washington State Life Safety Council Region 1.
