KAPO fighting for our property rights

Bob Meadows’ March 4 column (“County aims to herd residents into cities”) was right on the money, but the county has been trying to get people to move into the cities now for many years.

They call it “Smart Growth.”

There is an organization in this county that has been fighting this for a long time and I’m surprised Mr. Meadows didn’t mention this in the column.

The name of this organization is Kitsap Alliance of Property Owners, and it represents all property owners in this county whenever government tries to over-regulate our land use.
This organization can use all the members that it can get so it can fight the good fight when it’s necessary — which is quite often.

The phone number is (360) 710-8560, or you can e-mail executive director Vivian Henderson at www.kapo.org.

Let’s get with it and give them a hand, folks
