Don’t close door on ag enterprises

I support the growth of a local economy and I look at the Sawdust Hill Llama Farm as an agricultural-related community service establishment that clearly is about keeping dollars in Kitsap County.

I support the growth of a local economy and I look at the Sawdust Hill Llama Farm as an agricultural-related community service establishment that clearly is about keeping dollars in Kitsap County. I hate mail-order catalogues to purchase products.

I support what Sawdust Hill Llama Farm provides in a variety of services, including agritourism opportunities. We have too few farms open to the public that offers people hands-on experiences as well as the ability to pick up needed supplies and related products.

I am opposed to losing this viable and service-oriented resource in our community.

I agree with Scott Hall’s suggestion to put a moratorium on any farm business actions until DCD makes time to update our very outdated set of codes addressing agricultural businesses.

Do not close the door on this ag enterprise.
