I would like to thank everyone in our great community for the outpouring of love I have seen on the passing of our dog Sampson.

I am saying “our dog” because he truly was a dog for everyone in our city. If you ever walked into Dahlquist’s, you were greeted by one of the most gentle souls to walk this earth. As he grew older, he sometimes was sleeping or did not get up but he always wagged his tail for a good head- or belly-rub.

We will miss him dearly but his loving memory will live on in all our hearts. Thank you all so much for giving him such a wonderful life in Poulsbo.
