She was placed in an ambulance to be transported to a nearby area to be life flighted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, but shortly after it left, first responders declared the woman dead.

The woman has since been identified by the Kitsap County Medical Examiner’s Office as 53-year-old Shannon Castillo of Suquamish. The cause of death was listed as “multiple blunt force injuries” while the manner of death was “accidental.”
