Butcher & Baker Provisions owner Chef Adam Sawasy is currently training for a very important bike ride May 15-17 starting in Santa Rosa, Calif.
Chef Sawasy is joining hundreds of chefs for the Chefs Cycle No Kid Hungry campaign, which raised $2 million last year. The organization is hoping to raise $2.4 million this year and has already raised nearly $100,000. Chef Adam is looking to personally raise $7,500.
“I’m helping end childhood hunger in America by riding 300 miles in three days with Chefs Cycle for No Kid Hungry,” he said on his Rider Profile, which can be found at http://bit.ly/2rdznhW. “For the past three years, Chefs Cycle has engaged culinary talents who want to push their physical limits while raising funds and awareness in support of No Kid Hungry.”

Ghost Walk Tours, Special Investigations: The popular annual Ghost Walks run from 7-10 p.m. October through March and typically sell out fast. Each guided tour highlights the town’s history and paranormal experiences, and includes stops in the Walker-Ames House, Historic Museum, Post Office, old morgue and the Buena Vista Cemetery.
