TACOMA — The Trojans are moving on to the state tournament, winning their final game against Fife, 4-0, which will enable them to host a first-round playoff game.

Olympic defeated Lindbergh 2-1 in the first leg of the district round on Oct. 31 before squaring off against Fife. The Trojans were sharp early, taking a commanding 2-0 lead in the first half on goals by Saoirse Brown and Allanah Mitchell.

Brooklyn Haro and Gabby Luty added second-half goals

By virtue of its win over Lindbergh, Olympic was bound for the 2A State Tournament, but the victory over Fife allows the Trojans to host a playoff game. Bellingham will visit Olympic at Silverdale Stadium at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 8, which is after press deadline for the Central Kitsap Reporter; visit KitsapDailyNews.com for followup coverage.

The winner will travel to the winner of the match between Clarkston and Columbia River.
