Kingston High School gymnastics team earns best personal record

PORT ANGELES — Despite a loss, the Kingston High School gymnastics team earned its best score in program history.
The team finished its first meet of the season with 135.3 points. Though it was a school record, it was not enough to overcome Port Angeles (145.7).
Kingston’s Megan Keller earned the all-around highest score of the day (31.5), a lead of .5 over Port Angeles’ Madylan Coventon (31). Of her scores, Keller earned a 9.2 on floor routine, 8.3 on vault and 7 on bars and beam.
