Central Kitsap School board meets tonight

The Central Kitsap school board will meet this Wednesday in the Jenne-Wright Administration Center board room at 9210 Silverdale Way NW. The meeting is open to the public, and the regular session will begin at 6:30 p.m.

There will be a study session prior to the meeting to discuss school configuration and moving 9th-grade from Central Kitsap junior highs to CK and Olympic high schools.

Key items on the agenda include:

  • The second reading and adoption of Revised Policy 2410/2410P – High School Graduation Requirements
  • A presentation on the adjustment of the Jackson Park Elementary School construction project, moving the schedule back two weeks.
  • A discussion on school board and superintendent operating principals.
