North Kitsap senior softball team takes second at state

The North Kitsap senior softball team (ages 15-16) placed second at the state softball tournament July 20 in Auburn. North Kitsap fell to Fife-Milton-Edgewater in the final two games of the tournament, after defeating them once in an earlier game. Fife-Milton-Edgewater will advance to the Senior Softball League Western Regional Tournament July 29-Aug. 4 in Butte, Mont.
