BREMERTON — The League of Women Voters of Kitsap will present “Housing and Poverty Issues in Kitsap County,”  Nov. 19, 9:30 a.m. to noon,  at the Eagle’s Nest, 1195 NW Fairgrounds Road, Bremerton.

The program will focus on elements of Kitsap’s social safety network.  Speakers: Kurt Weist, executive director of the Bremerton Housing Authority; and Monica Bernhard, interim director of Kitsap Community Resources’ housing and community services.

The discussion will include measures the community can take to create opportunities for individuals and families to achieve good health, economic stability and social well-being.
