Vikings boys swim team cruises past Bremerton

Of the 11 events during Thursday's meet against Bremerton High School, the North Kitsap boys swim team took first in eight.

POULSBO — Of the 11 events during Thursday’s meet against Bremerton High School, the North Kitsap boys swim team took first in eight.

The afternoon of swimming ended with a 107-63 Viking victory. Included in the win were two individual first place finishes for both Yorick Aban and Michael Gilman. Ian Christen took first in the 100 Baskstroke, and the 200 Medley, 200 Free and 400 Free relays all earned first place finishes.

The Vikings will take a week-long break from competition and return to the pool Jan. 17, when they travel to Central Kitsap High School for a 3 p.m. meet.
