Charges filed against South Kitsap residents

Charges were filed in Kitsap County District Court against several South Kitsap residents.

They are as follows:

Feb. 18: Colvin James Bryant, 20, Port Orchard, forgery; Geoffrey A. Blackner, 28, Port Orchard, fourth-degree assault; Matthew Tobias Absher, 35, Olalla, third-degree malicious mischief (gross misdemeanor).

Feb. 12: Robert Lawrence Jenning, 49, Port Orchard, driving under the influence (DUI); Benjamin Gabriel Swanson, 33, Manchester, first-degree driving while license revoked.
