Many from Kitsap qualify for state in girls bowling

Teams from Kitsap County competed in the West Central Tri-District 4A, 3A, 2A/1A girls bowling tournament at the Bowlero Bowling Center in Lakewood Jan. 31.

Klahowya, Bremerton and Olympic finished in the top four spots as a team in the 1A/2A bracket and will advance to state. Other individual bowlers from Central Kitsap and South Kitsap also qualified for state. The state bowling tournament will take place Feb. 4-10, with 4A schools competing Feb. 4-5, 3A schools competing Feb. 6-7, and 1A/2A schools competing Feb. 9-10 at Bowlero in Lakewood.
