PORT ORCHARD — Kitsap Transit’s foot ferry service between Port Orchard and Bremerton will have to make do without the Carlisle II service through Wednesday, according to the transit agency.

The primary vessel on the foot ferry route is undergoing required engine work. Another vessel, Admiral Pete, is operating the run and will depart at its normal scheduled times, the agency reported in a Dec. 11 news release.

A smaller capacity vessel, Admiral Jack, will operate the Annapolis run and will depart as soon as the boat is at full capacity to accommodate as many passengers as possible in a timely manner.
