Columbia River ends Olympic’s soccer title hopes

VANCOUVER — Columbia River ended Olympic’s title hopes Nov. 8 with a 3-1 defeat in the opening round of the 2016 2A Girls Soccer State Championships, at Kiggins Bowl in Vancouver.

Columbia River went on to defeat North Kitsap 2-0 and advance to the semifinal against Selah, Nov. 18 at Shoreline Stadium.

Olympic finished the year with a 12-0-0, 16-3-0 record and the Olympic League title.
