Kingston High swimmers had a season to remember | Girls Swimming

KINGSTON — Kingston High School swimmers had a season to remember.

Kingston’s Nada Hantaveevongsa, Rachel Singleton, Gabby Green and Claudia Velie set a school record in the 400-yard freestyle relay, with a time of 4:16.12.

And Velie, a freshman, had two top-10 finishes at the 2A Girls State Swimming & Diving Championships, Nov. 14 at the King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way. Velie finished eighth in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:10.26; and finished ninth in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:19.19.
