North Kitsap wins first-round playoff game | District 2/3 2A Baseball Tournament

BREMERTON — As the temperature got warm, the North Kitsap Vikings’ offense and defense got hotter.
The Vikings handily defeated Franklin Pierce in their District 2/3 2A Baseball Tournament opener, May 9 at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds.
The Vikings face River Ridge later in the day, 7 p.m., at the fairgrounds. If they win that game, they’ll advance to the third-round game 10 a.m. May 16 at the fairgrounds. The championship game will be later that day. After that, the regional tournament and then state.
