Open houses announced at local schools

The South Kitsap School District announced the open house date for all of it elementary and junior high schools.

The following schedule was announced:

• Aug. 27: Burley Glenwood Elementary and John Sedgwick Junior High, 5:30-7 p.m.; Marcus Whitman Junior High, 6-7 p.m.

• Aug. 28: Manchester and Mullenix Ridge Elementary, 5:30-7 p.m.; Cedar Heights Junior High School, 6-7 p.m.

• Sept. 2: Sunnyslope Elementary, 4-5:30 p.m.; South Colby Elementary, 4:30-6 p.m.; Orchard Height Elementary, 5-6 p.m. and Olalla Elementary, 5:30-7 p.m.

• Sept. 9: Sidney Glen Elementary, 5:30-6:30 p.m.

• Sept. 18: Hidden Creek Elementary (Intermediates), 6-7 p.m.

• Sept. 25: Hidden Creek Elementary (Primary), 6-7 p.m.
