POULSBO — Two women, one from Port Orchard and the other from Bremerton, were reportedly victims of theft while at a fireworks-viewing party on Viking Way July 3.
The Port Orchard woman called 9-1-1 around 12:30 a.m. when she found her purse had been stolen from her car. She left her car unlocked around 11 p.m. The purse is white with roses on it, worth $150, and had her Social Security card, debit card, driver’s license, makeup bag, Epi-Pen and $43 in cash.
She then called her sister, the Bremerton woman, who had left the party. The Bremerton woman checked and found her purse had also been stolen. Her purse had been on the floorboard behind the driver’s seat, and the car was also unlocked. The purse is teal patent leather, and had her wallet with debit card, checks, mp3 player and digital camera, totaling $310 in value.
There are no suspects at this time, according to the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office.
