POULSBO — This photo was submitted Wednesday morning by Steve Swann, a Port of Poulsbo commissioner and writer of the monthly Scuttlebutt column in the Herald.

“[The] eagle was on the Port marina’s south log boom pile (breakwater),” Swann wrote.
