Villopoto races to his first AMA Motocross victory of the year at High Point

Ryan Villopoto of Poulsbo raced to his first AMA Motocross victory of the year, Saturday at High Point Raceway in Mount Morris, Pa.

The win came one year after Villopoto injured a leg and his sternum in a race. Villopoto, who finished third in Cordova, Calif., May 21 and third in Wortham, Texas, May 28, is now second in the AMA points standings. He races in Maryland on June 18.
