Basketball update | Kingston teams defeat Olympic, North falls to Bremerton

The Kingston High School basketball teams both brought home a win against the Bremerton Knights.

The varsity games, which both began at 7 p.m. ended with the boy’s second win and the girl’s first win. Both were Olympic League games and put the boys at 2-0 in the League and the girls at 1-1.

The Kingston boys almost doubled Olympic’s score, ending the game 63-38. The girls won 41-38.

The boys play an away game against W.F. West High School tonight, Dec. 7. The JV team plays at 5:45 p.m., the varsity plays at 7:30 p.m.

The girls play a home game against Peninsula High School on Friday, Dec. 10. The JV team plays at 5:45 p.m., the varsity team plays at 7 p.m.

North Kitsap

The North Kitsap girls put up a fight, which ended with a narrow defeat.

Both North teams faced Bremerton in Olympic League games. The girls lost 47-49 and the boys lost 43-68.

The boys play Decatur in an away game on Thursday, Dec. 9. All three teams – C, JV and varsity – will compete. The C team starts at 3:30 p.m., the JV team starts at 5:15 p.m. and varsity plays at 7 p.m.

The girls and boys play against Port Townsend on Friday, Dec. 10. The boys play at home – JV at 5:15 p.m and varsity at 7 p.m. The girls play away – C team starting at 3:45 p.m, JV at 5:15 p.m. and varsity at 7 p.m.
