SOCCER
The Kingston High School soccer team went into North Mason Thursday and shut out the Bulldogs, 5-0, on goals by four different players. The Bucs have a break before hosting Sequim April 7.
Scoring: 1, KHS, Chad Trask (Matt Hust), 25th. 2. KHS, Bobby Catania (PK), 30th. 3, KHS, Erick Ramirez (Justin Overton), 48th. 4, KHS, Juan Chehade (Catania), 62nd. 5, KHS, Chehade, 66th.
BASEBALL
The Kingston Buccaneers came to Poulsbo Friday and took care of the Vikings, 4-3, behind strong pitching by Tyler Sullivan and Rueben Smith’s bat. Sullivan pitched the entire game, allowing runs early before settling down. Smith finished 2-for-3 with a homer and a double, Curtis Wildung went 2-for-3 with a run scored and Rico LeMay was 1-for-3 with two RBI. On the NK side, Andy Smith had two RBI and Trevor Bennett was 2-for-2. Kevin Stringer was given the loss.
FASTPITCH
Kingston beat North Kitsap Friday, 8-3 in Poulsbo. Katie Lomas was credited with the win, Hannah Knight was 4-for-5 with three runs scored and Greta Coleman was 3-for-4.
