Seattle Opera Preview: “Rigoletto.” Dec. 28, 1-2:30 p.m. Hugely popular ever since its Venice premiere, Verdi’s tense and brutal tale of a court jester caught in a web of corruption, lechery and revenge runs the full emotional gamut in true operatic fashion. The iconic melodrama boasts an action-packed plot, memorably complex characters, and a hit parade of brilliant music.

Presented by opera aficionado Norm Hollingshead, this event was funded in part by a Kingston couple.

Adult Crafternoon: Wednesdays, 2:30-3:30 p.m.  Bring your handwork projects and see our newest craft books.
