March 2016 book predicted election

I read William Rieger’s letter (“2016 election like the plot of a novel,” Feb. 1 KitsapDailyNews.com) with a chuckle of agreement.

I wrote a novel titled “Revolution 2016 — Rise of the Silent Majority: The Trump-Sanders Earthquake,” which predicted Donald Trump’s election.

The book’s setting is in Kitsap County, weaving our Founding Fathers and several past presidents into the plot as it wends its way toward the New Hampshire primary. It was published in March 2016 (330 pages, CreateSpace).

Being a history buff, I had great fun writing about the historic race in satirical terms, many times using actual quotes of the characters and sometimes putting words in the mouths of Chief Seattle, Chief Joseph, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Susan B. Anthony, among others.
