North Mason 48, Olympic 22

Olympic High School committed three turnovers and allowed more than 500 yards rushing in a 48-22 loss to North Mason High School on the road Sept. 24.

Trojan quarterback Willie Kudera completed 17 of 29 passes for 260 yards and three touchdowns, but threw three interceptions. North Mason, meanwhile, had five running backs who rushed for at least 50 yards. Tommy Renne led the way with 232 yards on 29 carries, scoring one touchdown.

It was the fourth loss in as many games for the winless Trojans (0-4 overall, 0-2 league), whose chances of making the playoffs for a fourth consecutive season are diminishing with each passing week. The team has qualified for the state tournament every year since 2007.

Olympic played without head coach Tim Allbee, who served a one-game suspension after being ejected late in the game for arguing with a referee during the team’s 42-28 loss at home against Kingston High School Sept. 17.

The Trojans visit undefeated Port Angeles High School (4-0, 2-0) at 7 p.m. Friday.

Sequim 48, Bremerton 14

Sequim High School running back Isaac Yamamoto rushed for three touchdowns in the third quarter to break open a close game and lead the Wolves to a 48-14 win over Bremerton High School Sept. 24 at Memorial Stadium.

Yamamoto scored on rushes of four, four and three yards as Sequim scored 27 unanswered points in the second half.

Bremerton (1-3, 0-2) remained winless at home and in Olympic League play. The Knights visit North Kitsap High School (1-3, 1-1) at 7 p.m. Friday.

North Kitsap 7, Klahowya 0

Klahowya Secondary School suffered its 17th straight loss and was held scoreless for the third time in four games, falling 7-0 to North Kitsap High School Sept. 24 at Silverdale Stadium.

The Vikings (1-3, 1-1) earned their first victory of the season with the win. The Eagles (0-4, 0-2) have been outscored 187-14 this season.

Klahowya hosts Kingston High School at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Silverdale Stadium.

Olympia 21, Central Kitsap 13

Central Kitsap High School fell behind by 21 points and couldn’t overcome the deficit in a 21-13 loss to Olympia High School Sept. 24 at Ingersoll Stadium in Olympia.

It was the first loss of the season for the Cougars (3-1, 1-1), who trailed 21-0 before scoring two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to keep the game close.

With the win, Olympia moved into a tie for first place with Gig Harbor High School and Bellarmine Preparatory School, both 4-0, 2-0, in the Class 4A Narrows League.

Central Kitsap will host Bellarmine at 5 p.m. Friday at Silverdale Stadium.
