Intro. to boating class offered

An “Introduction To Boating” class is offered by the Agate Pass Sail & Power Squadron, beginning Wednesday, Sept. 3 at Martha & Mary, 19160 Front Street in Poulsbo.

The first class begins at 6:30 p.m., but remaining classes will run from 7-9 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays for four weeks.

scholarship benefit

A fourth-annual golf tournament will be held Sept. 13 at Gold Mountain Cascade and Olympic courses to raise funds to support North Kitsap and Kingston high schools scholarship funds and the North Kitsap Schools Foundation.

The event is limited to 96 golfers.

Cost is $135 on the Olympic course and $125 at Cascade. Dinner only is $30.
