CLASS 2A HARDWOOD CLASSIC | Olympic boys nip Fife to reach 2A consolation finals

YAKIMA — The Olympic Trojans got balanced scoring as they reached the Class 2A Hardwood Classic consolation finals with a 42-37 win over Fife March 6 at the Yakima Valley SunDome.

With the win, OHS is guaranteed to bring home a trophy. They will play Sehome — a 64-61 winner over Mark Morris — for fourth and sixth place in the state tournament.

Senior guards Kashun McGee and Makaleb McInnis scored nine points and grabbed eight rebounds each in the win.

Junior 6-foot-6 post Jumier Johnson added eight points with eight rebounds.

Erick Turnquist hit a pair of 3-pointers for the Trojans.
