Richard L. Davis, 75

Poulsbo resident Richard Leo (Dick) Davis died April 22, 2005 in Poulsbo. He was 75.

He was born to Leo and Debra Davis in Omaha, Neb. on Jan. 9, 1930.

Davis married Janet Ruth Turner on May 30, 1947 in Kingman, Ariz.

He graduated from Van Nuys High School in 1965 and attended college in Ogden, Utah.

Davis worked for Diamond U Products from 1947-1948; Lockeed, Burbank, Calif.; Marguardt Corp, Sacramento, Calif. and Bellevue in 1960; Western Auto Associate Store in Poulsbo from 1976 to 1981; and Johnson Controls, Bangor, Vitro B.A.E., retiring in 1998.

He enjoyed camping, hunting and gardening.

Davis is survived by his wife Janet Ruth Davis of Poulsbo; son Michael G. (Gloria) of Poulsbo; daughters Nancy A. (Bryan) Johansen of Poulsbo; Debi (James) Castle of Chula Vista, Calif.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A celebration of his life and potluck will be from 1-4 p.m. May 28 at the Hostmark Apartments Recreation Center, 6th Street and Hostmark, in Poulsbo.
