Bars in Hansville, a sad sign indeed

Dear meth heads, We regret to inform you that your presence here in North Kitsap is not only unnecessary but unwanted as well. Those among you who feel the need to rob, steal and do whatever you deem warranted to maintain your sad lifestyle are nothing more than a blight on our fine community.

Dear meth heads,

We regret to inform you that your presence here in North Kitsap is not only unnecessary but unwanted as well. Those among you who feel the need to rob, steal and do whatever you deem warranted to maintain your sad lifestyle are nothing more than a blight on our fine community.

An ugly blemish on an otherwise beautiful face.

The fact that you take advantage of your neighbors’ trustworthiness is grounds for your relocation in our eyes. Your continued targeting of mom and pop shops shows that your values sunk below those accepted by the society you call “home.” You obviously have no concept of that word or what it requires to give back. All you know is “take.”

The owners of Hansville Grocery and Provisions Company are fine people. But how would you know this and why would you even care? Apparently the only thing you see when you come across people like Kelly and Dave are money and drugs. What you fail to see and perhaps refuse to see is that their hard work — and the hard work of other businesses and individuals you take aim at — is only made more difficult by selfish people like you. People who put their own needs above all else to feed a filthy habit that will eventually consume them anyway.

We hope you’ll someday see the error of your ways, clean up your act, get a job and realize the time and effort it takes to earn that which you now deem yours by default. But we’re not going to hold our collective breath.

It’s a sad state of affairs that enormous locks, high tech security systems and now barred windows — barred windows in Hansville — are required to ensure you steal elsewhere.

We’ve had it with you and your kind. Please pack your bags and your pathetic lifestyle and hit the road, you’re not welcome here.

Sincerely,

Those who love North Kitsap
